The Raytheon Corporation hosted the July VITA Standards Organization (VSO) meeting in San Pedro, California. This update is based on the results of that meeting. The Cabrillo Marina was full of sailboats preparing for the start of Transpac 2015, a biannual sailing race to Honolulu.

SpaceVPX: Ready to launch
In April, VITA announced that VITA 78 SpaceVPX Systems had reached ANSI recognition as ANSI/VITA 78.00-2015. The working group dedicated to the development of VITA 78 completed the VITA and ANSI processes, reaching full recognition under guidance of the VITA Standards Organization (VSO).
